This set was my very first set, and ultimately is what got me hooked on cards. My dad bought me this set for my birthday. I know it is "junk wax" now, but I still have this set to this day, and it will always be the reason I got hooked.

Just too many cards !!! Still have them and hoping to sell most of them.
was happy when i was able to pull a Ricky Henderson or Bo Jackson .
Never got the Jose Canseco card i wanted .
Buying pack was cheap at that time.

Nothing special about the design. It's the weakest of
the first four Score sets. Light on rookies and not much
of an investment if any. 4/10

Card #39 in the World Series inserts, the first World Series in 1903, talks about the Red Sox on back of the card. At this time, they were the Boston Americans and did not become the Red Sox until 1908.
