This might be a dumb question but I pretty much only collect baseball cards so I am very much unfamiliar with the different NFL sets.  What upcoming set will be the first to have this year's NFL draft class in their NFL uniforms?  I assume something comes out after the season starts?

In their actual NFL uniforms it is normally the Donruss release. Of course, those photo are normally from the rookie camps or the start of training camp itself, but they are usually in their NFL uniforms. There are 2 other large NFL releases, Score and Panini prestige, but almost always the rookies are in college uniforms with mention of their NFL team they were drafted by.

Smaller, more niche releases, especially those released later in the season, will have them in NFL uniforms. I don't go after those sets so others can chime in.

I agree with jimetal on this. Illusion, Absolute, Select, Mosaic, and Prizm are others but are a mixed bag: some in pro uniform but others with their practice or pro day/combine gear. 

Thanks guys.  I might buy some football this year to chase some of the Bears rookies this season.

Ahh, if you are looking just to track down Bears rookies I'd just trade for them or get the off SportLots or the like. Don't get me wrong, absolutely nothing wrong with ripping wax but if you're looking to be cost-effective when you don't necessarily collect FB...
